Okill Stuart was a veteran of World War II and a recipient of the French Legion of Honor. After the war, Okill entered the real estate business, establishing Okill Stuart, Inc in St Lambert, While growing his business, it was very important to him to participate in charitable events and to be involved in the community. He was twice named St-Lambert Citizen of the year, and also earned the Governor General's Award for Caring.

June McGarr bought the business in 1983. For nearly 40 years, real estate was her passion, dedicating her life to real estate and Immeubles Stuart.
